| Crystal Dynamics uses what they call "Real Motion Control" to display the game in a 3D world. 3D Baseball contains over 22,000 frames of animation in order to produce the player movements. All of the major league players have been included as are more than 50 different batting stances. While a MLBPA license has been obtained, a MLB one has not. This results in no real teams nor real-life stadiums. Instead, four generic stadiums are in place.
