Why do I need to provide my Full Address and Phone Number?

Nxchange, like ebay, yahoo auctions, and other online exchange sites, is based on establishing trust between users. An integral component of this is enforcing strict records of each member's shipping address and contact information. You would never buy from an online store without knowing where that store is, and having a way to contact them by phone should you have questions, so why would you not demand the same on buy/sell/trade site?

Your privacy is protected. We only release your full contact information to a trading partner when a trade negotiation is completed and you have chosen to swap items.
