Getting Started

Sign-Up for an Account!

The first step is to sign up for an account. You can't start listing your items or making offers until you sign up. When signing up, we require that you supply us with some pretty detailed information like phone number where we can reach you, home address, and email address. You MUST supply us with the accurate information here.

Add Items to your Account

Once you have an account and have logged in, start finding items to add to your "Own List". Items added to your own list will show up for people to see, and you will be listed on the item's owner list when people look to see what's available.

To find items to add to your list, you can either use the handy search engine, or browse around using the item browser. When you start adding items, remember to clearly and honestly indicate the condition of the item, and whether you are willing to trade it. Also indicate a Sale price if you are willing to sell this item. If you do NOT list a sale price, NXC assumes that you are only willing to exchange it with other items.

Start building up a WANT list

Your "Want List" is a list of items that you are interested in obtaining. Fill this up with items the same way you would fill up your "Own List". You can add items that aren't even released yet, so that when it becomes available members know to get in touch with you. When creating a WANT list, you can specify what condition you'd like the item to be in, and how much you might be willing to pay for it.

Start finding Matches

When you are logged in, you can find matches on NXC for trading. The Matches system will try to find items that you want, or find traders who want items that you have. It even tries to two-way matches where you and another trader each have and want something the other person has or wants.

Browse around to see what else you want

Even if you find no matches, or if matches don't appeal to you, you can simply browse around and see what else there is to trade or buy.

Make Offers

When you see something you like, open up a trade negotiation with the other user. You can select items that you want to send them, and select items that you want to receive. Remember - DON'T make an offer unless you intend on going through with it!! Check out our Trading Tips before beginning to make offers.
